White Wolf Sanctuary

Today we drove to Tidewater, Oregon to the White Wolf Sanctuary. On the way we stopped at Seal Rock Beach and took these beautiful pictures. Many seals once made their homes here, not sure what happened to them or if they were just gone this time of year.

The wolf sanctuary is private and shown only by appointment. My niece, Heather, volunteers here one a month. Several of these wolves were rescued from Minnesota where they were going to be used in coat collars. The wolves are found only in the Artic. They are very friendly and like lots of attention especially being scratched.

The owner, Lois, also had this 12 year old chicken she keeps as a pet. (I didn't know chickens could live that long.)

We completed the outing with Dungeness Crab.

See Ya!!!
Nancy
